The Municipal Government of Moncada congratulates Mayor Estelita M. Aquino for having been hailed as Regional Outstanding Public Official in the celebration of Civil Service Commission’s Honor Awards Program 2021. The Honor Awards Program is an annual undertaking of CSC which recognizes government officials and employees who have exemplified modern heroism and relentlessly shared an excellent performance in the name of public service. The conferment of honor awards aims to motivate or inspire government employees to improve the quality of their performance and instill deeper involvement in public service.
The CSC PAG-ASA AWARD is given to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contributions that directly benefit more than one department of the government.
Mayor Aquino’s banner program has amplified the integral role of Solid Waste Management in protecting people’s health as well as the environment.
Said program had already been implemented even before the enactment of Republic Act 9003, otherwise known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
Her advocacy in turning these solid wastes into something beneficial has truly made an impact in the lives of her constituents.
