PSA Convenes MCCB Moncada for CAF

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) convened the Municipal Census Coordinating Board (MCCB) of Moncada in preparation of the Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF).
The CAF is geared towards the collection and compilation of basic information on the agriculture and fishery sectors in the country. The data to be collected in this census will serve as important bases of policies, plans, and programs for the country’s socio-economic development. The 2022 CAF is the seventh in a series of decennial agricultural census and the sixth in the decennial census of fisheries in the country since 1903. It adopts the guidelines outlined in the World Programme for the Census of Agriculture 2020 (WCA 2020), as recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN).
