Mayor Ramon Benito M. Aquino signed into law on Thursday, May 7, 2026, the following ordinances enacted by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan during its 17th Regular Session held on April 28, 2026:
✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-002 Institutionalizing the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) in Moncada to strengthen consumer protection and stabilize prices of basic necessities and prime commodities. (Authored by Coun. Jayvee B. Natividad)
✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-003 Supporting the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) and providing local implementation measures to protect children and families from preventable diseases. (Authored by Coun. Janius John C. Yasay)
✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-004 Prohibiting the wandering of topless or half-naked persons in public streets and places in Moncada, with penalties for violations to uphold public decency. (Authored by Couns. Constante Nestor A. Favis & Leslie G. Lopez)
✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-005 Prohibiting drinking sessions and the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public streets, sidewalks, plazas, parks, and other public places in Moncada, with penalties for violators to promote peace and order. These ordinances reflect the continuing commitment of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan and Mayor Aquino to advance public welfare, protect community health, especially children, and uphold peace and order in Moncada.
