Moncada Undergoes Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation

In a bid to clinch for the Fifth Seal of Good Local Governance, the municipality of Moncada went through the SGLG National Validation on September 18, 2023.
The assessment started with an onsite inspection and was preceded by an interview with the validator to support the uploaded Means of Verifications (MOVs) in connection with the prescribed indicators or criteria of the SGLG Committee.
The validator was ADC Leslie Carol L. Isip, the LGMED of Ilocos Region and was assisted by LGOO VII Danilo C. Rillera, Cluster 1 Team Leader of DILG Tarlac.
Also, PD Armi V. Bactad, Provincial Director of DILG Tarlac graced the validation.
During the exit conference, ADC Isip left positive feedback and hoped to see Moncada on the awarding.
Meanwhile, on her closing remarks, Mayor Estelita M. Aquino thanked the validators, the SB Members, the department heads, the representatives from the National Agencies, the technical working group and all the employees who gave their best in promoting the common good for the townspeople. Consequently, she advised everyone to be hopeful and be grateful of what the result will be.
