The municipality of Moncada was recognized as a Regional Awardee at the 2024 Gawad Timpukan for achieving a HIGH-FUNCTIONALITY rating with a perfect score (100.00) in the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit for calendar year 2023.
The High-Functionality Rating reflects the council’s capacity to efficiently allocate resources, implement strategies, monitor outcomes, and adapt interventions to meet local needs. It also provides transparency and accountability, helping to build trust with the public and stakeholders, and demonstrating the council’s actions to reducing drug-related harm through data-driven, evidence-based actions.
Meanwhile, Gawad Timpukan is an annual awards and recognition program honoring top performing Local Government Units (LGUs) in the implementation of the DILG’s various programs in the region.
