By virtue of Ease of Doing Business Act of 2018, a Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is mandated to be created in every city and municipality, where applications for permits and licenses are to be received and processed. A single place to process applications for business permits, mayor’s permits, fire inspection, etc.

At the onset of the new year, during the resumption of its operation, the Municipal Government of Moncada, through its Business Permits and Licensing Office and Municipal Treasury led the launching of its Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) on Monday, January 4, 2021. Moncada’s B.O.S.S. involves various government services such as application and renewal of business permits, mayor’s permit, sanitation permit, payment of taxes and the like.

Moncada’s BOSS has been established to cut the red tape in the bureaucracy. Clients and stakeholders with complete documents and requirements are assured that they would not encounter any problem with their transactions since this is a one-stop-shop where everything they need is readily available. LGU’s staff are on the frontline to attend to their needs, queries and concerns.

Prior to the start of the new year, Mayor Estelita Aquino made sure that everything is in order and minimum public health standards such as wearing of face mask, use of sanitizers and social distancing protocols are strictly enforced to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
