Moncada bags another recognition from the Department of the Interior and Local Government. The LGU was conferred with the 1st National Anti-Drug Abuse Performance Award for its exemplary efforts in supporting and complementing the national government’s programs to eradicate the country’s illegal drug problems.

Vice Mayor Jaime “Jiggs” Duque of Moncada LGU received the award Monday afternoon at The Manila Hotel. Also in attendance during the conferment were SB Member Rodolfo C. Espejo Jr., and LnB Pres. Dr. George R. Cuchapin.
