Feast of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary | September 08, 2023

O God, our Heavenly Father,
On this day, we celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
The dawn of salvation for all humanity.
We thank you for the gift of Mary, chosen to be the Mother of your Son,
A woman of faith, humility, and great love.
May her example inspire us to live lives of devotion and obedience to your will.
As we commemorate her birth, we ask for your blessings upon us,
Grant us the grace to emulate her virtues and to surrender ourselves to your divine plan.
May we, like Mary, say “yes” to your call and trust in your providence.
Through her intercession, may we grow in faith, hope, and charity,
And may her maternal love guide us on our journey towards eternal life.
Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us,
That we may become more like you in our love and devotion to your Son, Jesus Christ.
We make this prayer through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
