DEAN MIACHAEL V. DUQUE OFFICIALLY JOINS THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL AS THE EIGHT (8TH RANKING MEMBER)
After taking his ceremonial oath of office before Vice Mayor Ramon Benito “RB” M. Aquino, Coun. Dean Michael V. Duque, son of the late Vice Mayor Jaime O. Duque, joined the first regular session of the Sangguniang Bayan Monday morning. He participated in the deliberations of various measures brought before the legislature.
In a statement, Coun. Duque vowed to uphold integrity and excellence in the furtherance of public service.
“Aking susundan ang yapak ng aking Ama na si Late Vice Mayor Jaime “Jiggs” O. Duque na minahal ninyong lahat pagdating sa serbisyo publiko” said the newly-minted SB Member.
He likewise expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Susan A. Yap, Moncada Mayor Estelita M. Aquino, and the whole of Sangguniang Bayan of Moncada led by Vice Mayor RB Aquino.
Coun. Duque succeeded as a member of the Council in view of the vacancy created by the ascension of then-councilor RB Aquino to the position of Municipal Vice Mayor and concurrent Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Bayan. ###
