Cybersecurity Awareness in Moncada Public Auditorium

LOOK | The Department of Information and Communication Technology Regional Office 3 under the leadership of Regional Director Reynaldo T. Sy, through DICT Tarlac Provincial Office headed by Mr. Edwin Mendoza, and the Municipal Government of Moncada, Tarlac headed by Hon. Estelita Aquino, conducted the Cybersecurity Awareness in Moncada Public Auditorium attended by barangay officials and barangay personnel.
This activity is in participation in the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2022 and in collaboration with the Philippine National Police ACG, Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 3 led of PCOL Fidel B. Fortaleza, Jr. The resource speaker for the said event, Pat Allen M. Salgado, discussed “Cybercrime Awareness and Prevention” that focuses on common types of cybercrime, cybercrime prevention, and how to report a cybercrime incident to the law enforcement authorities. This was followed by a resource speaker from the Department of Information and Communication Technology who presented different cyber threats, how internet users can be safe from cyber threats by following online etiquettes, and practical data protection techniques.
This event is supported and co-organized by the Moncada Management Information Office, led by Engr. Arnold Aristotle Gabriel and DICT Region 3 Cybersecurity.
