The Municipal Government of Moncada, headed by Mayor Estelita M. Aquino, through the efforts of the following offices: Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO); Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO); Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), and in partnership with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), has heeded to the call of heightening its efforts to save the Earth through Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Program.
This is a “Cash for Work” program in which beneficiaries will work for 10 days and will be paid after finishing the duration of work. Moreover, beneficiaries have been assigned the responsibility of participating in communal gardening.
Communal gardening holds significant importance as it fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility. This collaborative activity not only promotes a stronger connection among participants but also enhances local sustainability by cultivating fresh produce and green spaces.
