18 JANUARY 2021 | MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF MONCADA IS NOW ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED

MONCADA, TARLAC – The Municipal Government of Moncada receives the ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. today, January 18, 2021 at the Auditorium Café.

In attendance are the different department heads led by Mayor Estelita M. Aquino, with the Sangguniang Bayan members headed by Vice Mayor Jaime O. Duque.

Ms. Jennifer De Leon, General Manager of Full Force Consultancy Services facilitated the presentation of Audit findings and Symposium.

During her talk, she has discussed the positive audit findings which led to the grant of the certificate to the municipality like the evident positive approach towards the implementation of the quality management system, organizational excellence and the noteworthy assistance and programs given to the constituents of Moncada in the midst of COVID-19 crisis.

Furthermore, Ms. De Leon also underscored some recommendations provided by the auditors which are intended to contribute to the continuous improvement of the management system which include, among others, the elimination of weaknesses existing in the organization, ensure management system effectiveness and prevent non-conformities.

As to non-conformities (NCs), the LGU had none.

Moreover, the benefits of being ISO-certified were discussed, which primarily aims to have a more organized management system.

“I am very proud because today, we will now be called as Municipal Government of Moncada, ISO Certified,” Mayor Aquino expressed. “And I am also happy because in the entire Region 3, we are the first municipality to be ISO-certified for both the LGU’s executive and legislative departments,” she further mentioned.

Also, Vice-Mayor Duque, during his concluding message, congratulated everyone and said, “Whatever award we got today is an award for our hard work in striving towards excellence.”
