
12 Local Government Units participate in the A+I Program
Galing Pook Foundation and the Local Government Academy (LGA) launched another batch of the Adapt and Innovate (A+I) Leadership Course. This will focus on strengthening LGUs’ capacities toward full devolution in light of the Mandanas – Garcia Ruling and EO 138.
Twelve LGUs from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are participating in the program namely: Alcala, Cagayan; Moncada, Tarlac; Magallanes, Cavite; San Fernando, Camarines Sur; Concepcion, Iloilo; Leon, Iloilo; Jiabong, Samar; Tolosa, Leyte; Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur; Lianga, Surigao del Sur; Tubajon, Dinagat Islands; and Pagayawan, Lanao del Sur.
The A+I Leadership Course aims to develop among the participants a keen understanding on the current adaptive challenges local governments are facing, and adaptive and innovative capacities towards a “better normal.”
