The Municipal Government of Moncada proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 30th Girl Child Week with the theme: “Katawan Ko, Karapatan Ko: Edukasyon Tungo sa Malaya at Ligtas na Pagpapasya”

This celebration aims to promote the rights, welfare, and empowerment of every girl by emphasizing the importance of education and access to accurate information that will enable them to make safe, informed, and independent decisions about their lives and future.

This year, the spotlight is on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH), addressing key issues such as adolescent pregnancy, child and early marriage, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and responsible parenthood and family planning.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 759, s. 1996, let us continue working together to create safe spaces, strengthen protection mechanisms, and ensure that every girl grows up confident, empowered, and supported.

Let us all stand for the dreams and rights of every girl in Moncada.
