05 OCTOBER 2023 | Barangay and SK Aspirants Vow to Peaceful Election

Aspirants for Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) positions in Moncada came together earlier today, to pledge their dedication to a peaceful and fair election at St. Raymund Nonnatus Parish.
Representatives from the different Religious Organizations led the Ecumenical prayer. Afterwards, messages from representatives of the various National Agencies were delivered.
On her message, Mayor Estelita M. Aquino encouraged all the aspirants to present their platforms to their constituents instead of defaming their co-aspirants.
According to Ms. Desiree Ramos, Acting Municipal Election Officer, there were a total of 1,390 candidates registered for the upcoming elections.
Consequently, aspirants recited the Integrity Pledge, signed the covenant for a peaceful election, participated in the Unity Walk and released white balloons as an indication of their full support to the main objective of today’s activity.
