04 OCTOBER 2023 | CSOs, Local Special Bodies, NGAs and Moncada LGU Conduct Simultaneous Tree Planting and Clean Up Activity

Various Civil Society Organizations, Local Special Bodies, National Government Agencies and departments of the municipal government of Moncada conducted the Simultaneous Tree Planting and Clean Up Activity, earlier today, at selected barangays of the municipality.
The Child Representatives of Moncada, being the leaders of the activity, encouraged other organizations to follow suit in implementing the activity.
“Masaya po kami na nagtanim kami ngayon kasi nag-iiba na po ang klima. Kailangan na po natin ng mas marami pang puno,” said one of the representatives.
Ms. Wilma D. Balgos, head of MENRO, supported the activity by distributing the seedlings to the planting sites and by demonstrating the proper way of planting the tree seedlings.
Moreover, Mayor Estelita M. Aquino and Vice Mayor RB Aquino also helped in spearheading the event and asked the barangay personnel to monitor and ensure that the trees planted will be taken cared of to guarantee a greener and safer future everyone.
