𝗠𝗼𝗣𝗖 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Moncada, Tarlac — The Board of Trustees of the Moncada Polytechnic College (MoPC) convened its Fourth Quarter Meeting on October 3, 2025, at the SB Session Hall of the SB-ABC-SK Building, Moncada, Tarlac, presided over by its Chairperson, Mayor Ramon Benito M. Aquino.

The items under the Order of Business were discussed by the Interim College President, Dr. Max P. Guillermo. Deliberations centered on academic, administrative, and financial matters essential to the continued development of MoPC, the first local university and college in the province of Tarlac.

Among the major actions approved were the adoption of the curriculum for the ladderized Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness program, the approval of the College’s five-year budget and expenditure plan, the schedule of tuition and other fees, and the salaries and wages of full-time and part-time faculty members and lecturers. For its initial years of operation, however, the tuition and other fees will be fully subsidized by the Local Government of Moncada to ensure accessibility for deserving students.

The Board also gave its nod to the proposed admission policies, faculty and non-teaching recruitment policies, and the Learning Continuity Plan. Meanwhile, a proposed ordinance creating a Scholarship Fund for MoPC was endorsed to the Sangguniang Bayan for further legislative action.

Strengthening external partnerships was likewise discussed, particularly the collaboration with the Provincial Government of Tarlac through the Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success (TCLASS) for the future offering of diploma programs in Agriculture/Agribusiness and Practical Nursing.

Providing technical assistance during the meeting were CHED Regional Director Lora L. Yusi and TESDA Provincial Director Ben-Hur B. Baniqued, while Mr. Jeremiah Silvestre of the Provincial Government-TCLASS delivered updates on ongoing partnerships.

The meeting closed with optimism as the Board reaffirmed its commitment to ensure that MoPC continues to expand opportunities for accessible and quality education, particularly for underprivileged yet deserving youth of Moncada and nearby communities.
