The Municipality of Moncada, Tarlac marked another milestone in its ongoing infrastructure development with the inauguration of the Camangaan West Local Access Road on October 3, 2024. This project, funded under the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance – Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF), is a continuation of Moncadaโs commitment to sustained progress. Spanning 137 meters in length and 5 meters in width, the โฑ1,798,000.00 project enhances the townโs growing transportation network and demonstrates the local governmentโs consistent efforts to improve connectivity and access for its residents.
Building on previous SGLG-IF projects, the new access road provides critical improvements for 1,295 residents, making travel and the movement of goods easier, boosting local businesses, and reducing daily commute times. This latest addition is part of a broader infrastructure agenda designed to promote economic development, better mobility, and continuous service delivery in Moncada.
The consistent funding through the SGLG-IF underscores Moncadaโs success in good governance practices and sustainable development efforts. By focusing on large-scale and continuous projects through the leadership of Mayor Estelita M. Aquino, the local government ensures long-term benefits for its constituents while addressing the growing needs of the community.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by key officials, including DILG Regional Office III Assistant Regional Director Jay E. Timbreza, CESO V, DILG Tarlac Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V, and Cluster Leaders Dennis A. Daquiz and Jeffrey S. Manalastas, alongside Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Bryan N. Rivera, the LFP Team, and other local officials and functionaries.
